Rù-Rà are an exciting new presence in the Celtic/World music scene. Consisting of Gaelic singer Maggie Carchrie and keyboardist-percussionist Thomas Leigh, they fuse traditional Scottish Gaelic lyrics and melodies with modern electronic dance music and world percussion.

History

Rù-Rà was formed at the end of 1998. Since then they have been performing at venues such as Highland Games and Celtic music festivals all over the East Coast. Their self-titled début album was released in the summer of 2000.
